Ich will an der GL1100 die Tankattrappe umbauen. Dazu will ich ein Kunststoffteil anfertigen, welches aus demselben Material besteht wie die orig. Tankattrappe. Damit ich es nachher dort hineinkleben oder -schweißen kann.
Weiß jemand, aus welchem Material die Kunststoffteile der GL1100 Tankattrappe gefertigt wurden? Kann ich davon ausgehen, daß es ein Standard-ABS ist, wie es auch heutzutage für Motorradverkleidungen verwendet wird?

Schau mal von innen ,da müsste ein Stempel (gegossen nicht gedruckt) drin sein, darauf müsste stehen was für kunststoff das ist. Normalerweise sind alle Plastikteile so gekennzeichnet.
Gibt es ja nicht viel. :D :D :D

Nein, das ist es ja gerade.
Bei den alten Baujahren gab es diese Material-Kennzeichnungspflicht für die Hersteller noch nicht. Auf meiner Tankattrappe steht innen nix eingestempelt (GL1100 Bj. 1981).
Äh - Hallo Goldwingfahrer mit Maschinen nach Bj. 1981 - welche Kennzeichnung findet Ihr in Euren Kunststoff-Verkleidungsteilen?

Hallo Stromberg,
Ich weiss nicht ob Dir das weiterhilft.
Ich fahre GL 1500 SC22,Bj.3/88.
Ich habe auf allen Teilen nur das Herstellungsdatum eingeprägt.
Auch an den neueren Teilen(5 Jahre alt von Kyriakin)finde ich keine Angaben.
Allzeit gute Fahrt.
