Make sure you check out the Presidio.
Twin Peaks is a great place to take pictures.
Fort Point is a great place to get pictures of the Golden Gate and is a pretty cool place on its own.
Baker Beach is nice, and they have an ancient 6" dissapearing rifle there. Don't go too far down the beach, as it turns nude at a certain point...
Sutro Park, overlooking the Cliff House is great.
Go to the Ferry Building on Saturday morning for the Farmer's Market.
Go explore the Marin Headlands. There are some great views of the Golden Gate and SF from there.
If you can get out of the city for a bit, on a clear day, go up to the summit of Mt. Diablo. You can see the entire bay area from there.
Go up into the Berkeley hills. Great views of Berkeley and SF. Check out Wildcat Canyon Rd.
Check out Alice's Restaurant in Woodside. Take Skyline. No, it's not THAT Alice's Restaurant, but it is pretty cool, with cylclists, hikers, sports cars, cruisers, tourers, squids,...
Napa has the mustard in bloom right now. Very pretty.
Take LaHonda road to the PCH.
If you drop your change, don't bend over, bend your knees. Otherwise you may blow out your back.
If you get up to Napa, or go to the Farmer's Market, let me know, we might be able to meet. I'm about 30 minutes from Napa, and we often take the Wing to the Farmer's Market.
If you have not already picked out a hotel, my favorite is the Redwood. Off-street parking, afordable pricing and clean.
Nur für info - in Alice"s Restaurant oder in Redwood kanst du übernachten.
Wünsche dir eine super tour!
